Claude Opus 5.5 is the newest model in Anthropic's Opus line and the successor to Claude Opus 5. It keeps the Opus 5 foundation (a 1M-token context window, up to 128K output tokens per request, the same tokenizer and the same features: image input, tool use and prompt caching) while Anthropic's list price drops from $5 / $25 to $4 / $20 per million input / output tokens.
