This tier is inexpensive, but generation can be slow and unreliable. When resources are tight, jobs may wait a long time, fail, or be temporarily unavailable. It suits projects with a flexible schedule; allow extra time for work with a deadline.

01What can this Seedance 2.5 tier do?

02How to make your first video

1. Check availability and choose the model. Open the special-tier model page and select seedance-2.5-30s. If an announcement reports a shortage or interruption, wait for a status update.
2. Describe one 30-second video. Explain the subject, setting, action and style. Put the sequence in time order; avoid conflicting instructions or too many characters and scene changes on the first try.
3. Add reference images if needed. Up to 9 images are supported. State what each one represents, for example “@Image1 is the main character; @Image2 is the setting.” Start with a few clear, relevant images.
4. Choose the aspect ratio, check the price and submit one job. Use 16:9 for landscape or 9:16 for portrait. This tier has a fixed duration of 30 seconds, 720P resolution and a generated audio track.
5. Keep the task ID and check the call log. You can leave the page after submission. Review one result before increasing volume, and download successful videos promptly.

03Why is the price low?

This is a separately priced, fixed-format special tier: 30 seconds, 720P, billed per video. It is intended for budget-conscious projects that can allow time for generation.

The trade-offs are waiting time, resource availability and a narrower set of options. The price does not include guaranteed immediate access or fast completion. Consider the time spent waiting and retrying as well as the price per result.

04How are credits charged?

The current price is 300 credits ($1.50) per video, for 30 seconds at 720P. Credits are reserved at submission and settled according to the result.

Resubmitting creates another job. If you submit the same prompt three times and all three succeed within the protected period, each is charged separately. Regenerating to change the result is also a new job. Check the displayed price before submitting.

05What limitations should I expect?

For references depicting real people, choose 16:9 or 9:16 and use material you have the right to use. Content is subject to review. Check completed videos for unwanted details, text or motion.

Generated images and videos are retained for 15 days; uploaded references for 7 days. Save files you need to keep.

06How to get more value with less waiting around

Use this tier for work that allows time and experimentation. Prepare the prompt and references, check current status, submit once and return to the call log later.

• Try one job before increasing volume. Check the result before submitting a batch.
• Check an in-progress job instead of resubmitting. “95%” does not tell you how much longer it will take.
• When resources are unavailable, try another time. Rapid retries and repeated prompt edits usually do not resolve a capacity shortage.
• For input or parameter errors, fix the stated cause. Check image access, format and count. If content review fails, revise the relevant material or description.
• If your schedule is flexible, watch the busier periods. Use the times below as a rough operating observation. Try outside them when convenient; no time of day guarantees success.
• Set your own waiting limit. For a deadline, compare the current status, capabilities and price of other models. Refunded credits cannot recover lost time.
